2017 Richmond Vale Railway Museum – Coalfields Steam – 10th June 2017
Coalfields Steam is a celebration of the important role coal has played in the Hunter Valley and includes a running display using a series of 4-wheel non-air coal hoppers, famously used on the Richmond Vale Railway right up until its close in 1987.
2017 Richmond Vale Railway Museum – ROD 2004 Unveiling
Number 23 or ROD 2004 was a locomotive originally used on the Richmond Vale Railway up until 1973. It was restored to static display by the Richmond Vale Railway & Mining Museum and officially celebrated on the 10th June 2017.
